Fourth generation of microminerals, the result of knowledge and experience of chemists and livestock and poultry nutritionists

Microminerals play important roles in the body, such as in metabolic oxidative safety, nutrient metabolism, reproductive activities, etc. A deficiency of microminerals such as Zn, and Mn can lead to numerous metabolic problems in livestock and poultry. Iron and copper play important roles in the health of joints, growth and health of hair, wool, and feathers, production of blood cells, improvement of immune function, and enhancement of fertility. Zinc and manganese also play important roles in protein synthesis, immune function, metabolism of vitamins, strengthening of the antioxidant system, enhancement of fertility, and skin health. These elements are also cofactors for many important enzymes involved in glucose metabolism. Chromium also plays a fundamental role in glucose metabolism and insulin. Cobalt is the main precursor for the biosynthesis of vitamin B12 by microorganisms in the digestive system.

The first generation of minerals
Inorganic forms of micro minerals, such as oxides and salts in which are known as the first generation of minerals, have limited bioavailability. The bioavailability of these minerals can be significantly increased by producing organic complexes containing microminerals as organic chelates.

 The second generation of minerals
Complexes or organic chelates in which minerals are bound to an amino acid or peptide are called the second generation of minerals.

The third generation of minerals
Hydroxy trace minerals are known as the third generation of minerals. MetaRich is a hydroxy micromineral. produced by the Hemand Ecofarm group, these minerals, in addition to having all the properties of chelated minerals, also have high purity and are more cost-effective than other chelated minerals.

 The fourth generation of minerals
The fourth generation of microminerals is known as poly carboxylated chelates. While having high solubility in water, they also maintain their stability over a wide range of pH and do not have any interaction with other antagonists present in the feed. They are easily and efficiently absorbed in the intestine. Hemand Group, utilizing the knowledge and experience of prominent Iranian chemists and livestock nutrition specialists, has produced two exceptional and unique products, ChelaMin (poly carboxylated chelates) and MetaRich (hydroxy microminerals), for the first time in Iran and introduced them to the market.

Chelamin

Chelamin Polycarboxylic   Chelates have high solubility in neutral and acidic pHs. These soluble organic chelate keeps the minerals inside their molecular structure using non-covalent bonds and prevents them from entering chemical and biochemical reactions, especially with macro minerals such as   Ca and Mg.
. The main goal of the production of this type of organic complex is to increase the intestinal absorption efficiency of microminerals. Researches have shown that organic polycarboxylic chelates are rapidly absorbed through intestinal transporters and enter the blood. The high stability of organic polycarboxylic chelates in the digestive system has caused these complexes to be an excellent option for providing microminerals

Researches have shown that chelates are more effective when livestock for nutrients is high. This increase in need is usually seen during pregnancy, lactation, ovulation, reproductive stress, rapid growth, weaning, environmental stress (such as heat and cold stress), and disease. Consuming organic chelates from one to two months before calving to two months after the next artificial insemination will lead to a significant reduction in the incidence of diarrhea in dairy calves and an increase in the pregnancy rate.
